| What the heck is going on here anyway? | This site is a community portal for Cloud 9 Ranch members. It is a private site; supported, owned, and operated by ranch owner-members. We have no official affiliation with Cloud 9 Ranch Club, Inc..
This site was started in in 1997, then we bought the Cloud9Ranch.com domain for it in 1999. It was originally created to help a small group of C9R members, friends and family keep in touch better, and have some fun. Over the years more and more members have found us and we now have hundreds of registered users, sponsors, and many new friends!
In 2003 we re-designed this site and also purchased the Cloud9Ranch.net domain to use here, so we could point the Cloud9Ranch.com domain to the ranch's corporate site, which is Cloud9RanchClub.com.
Portal members can still use their personal cloud9ranch.com e-mail accounts, but the domain presently redirects to the corporate website. | | Back to Top | | What are User Groups? | Members of this site may belong to one or more Groups.
When you registered and activated your membership at this site, you automatically became a member of the Registered Users group.
A second group, called the Sponsor Members group, consists of members who subscribe and help support this site. Sponsor Members have access to additional content and features which are not available to Anonymous or Registered users.
Members of the Moderators group also have access to administrative tools at the site, and can approve member submissions such as calendar events and news/announcements stories. | | Back to Top |
